Le porte-bébé en lin : le froissé élégant pour un temps chaud

Linen: the elegant wrinkle!

You will soon receive your fluffy email from new linen collection and will probably find it difficult to contain your excitement to take your baby in your Gustine for a ride? We understand you PERFECTLY!

Linen is perfect for hot weather and the summer season... if summer can come quickly! 😉

This natural fiber, known for its freshness and comfort, is perfect in summer and winter, but we must still warn you about its look: it is a textile that wrinkles quickly.

THE ELEGANT CRUSH!

Linen fans will tell you: the folds are the beauty of this textile. This is, in my opinion, one of the characteristics that gives it its charm! No need to fight against this, it’s the signature of this beautiful fiber. Moreover, this racy style is now sought after by many designers in the fashion field.

However, you will need an initial wash and a few hours of drying before you can “break in” your marvelous one. It is VERY important to WASH your Gustine BEFORE its first use.

QUALITY AND HYGIENE

As our products are made by hand, your beautiful Gustine has been handled by more than one person: weaver, packer, fabric tailor, seamstresses, etc.

SIMPLE EASY WASHING

Linen is a robust fiber, but it still requires softness when washing.

  • Hand wash in cold water with mild soap.
  • Do NOT tumble dry.
  • Apply pressure to remove as much water as possible
  • Apply towels as needed to further blot the straps
  • Spread and dry completely
  • Avoid the sun and direct heat sources
  • Choose a well-ventilated area to speed up drying.
  • Prevent the straps from remaining wet for too long
  • Wear with love!

Also remember that a Gustine does NOT need to be washed frequently. After the first wash, you should only wash it if it is stained or really dirty, or when you want to resell it. The soap chosen will therefore probably not have to be repurchased on a regular basis.

Here are some of the most popular alternatives:

  • Soap Nuts

***If you have a scarf containing WOOL or SILK, it is recommended to only use Soak soap.
