Our structured carriers offer 3 carrying positions: front, back and hip. They are not designed for an ergonomic facing the world carry. We prefer the hip carry, which allows baby to look at the world when he is awake, but when he is tired, he can rest his head against the carrier.
Our carriers have passed several tests to ensure their safety. All of our carriers are ATM F2237-16a certified. In addition, they have passed tests to certify the structure, the fabric and the flammability. All our fabrics are OKEO-TEX certified and free of toxic substances. The foam of our carriers is anti-bacterial and anti-mould.
INSTALLING THE CARRIER WITH A NEWBORN
Use the belt clips up to 15 lbs. (For babies over 15 lbs, use the clips under the arms).

Notes: The Preschool size is perfect for preschoolers who still enjoy babywearing or want to rest their legs from time to time. The Preschool is large enough for good weight distribution and comfort with children 4 years and older. It usually fits around 38 inches and a minimum pant size of 4T.
Preschool carriers have a pocket on the apron and on the waistband.
Care tips
The most important step before using your Gustine is to WASH it!
Although our fabric is pre-washed, the Gustine manufacturing process is not complete until the fiber has not swollen to occupy all the space in the carrier's fabric. Not washing your Gustine before its first use leaves empty spaces between the stitches, which weakens the fabric and also increases the risk of the fibers shifting and premature deterioration.
SOAP
Our natural and ecological Gustine soap made from Marseille soap is ideal for washing baby carriers.
A mild soap, without optical brightener (bleaching agent), without softener.
Baby soaps are not recommended.
No powdered soap (powder residue can damage the fabric).
Rinse the soap well if it is not a no-rinse soap.
WASHING
Hand wash in cold water.
Squeeze out well, especially the padding for structured carriers.
DRYING
Remove as much water as possible from the padding.
Hang to dry. Do not put in the dryer.
Avoid direct heat sources and do not iron.
